About Me
As an Afro-Latina bilingual clinical psychologist with over 10 years of experience and a doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University, I am dedicated to supporting individuals on their journeys of healing, growth, and empowerment. My practice specializes in Latinx populations, women’s mental health—including reproductive health, fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum—health psychology, racial identity and trauma, and helping women of color navigate high-powered careers while balancing personal aspects of their lives.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, I create a culturally attuned, compassionate space where clients can explore and address the complexities of their identities and life experiences. My therapeutic approach is informed by my extensive clinical experience and training, using evidence-based methods tailored to each individual’s needs to promote healing, resilience, and lasting change.
I am also deeply committed to social justice and systemic change. I co-authored Microintervention Strategies: What You Can Do to Disarm and Dismantle Individual and Systemic Racism and Bias, and I am a co-founder of Nascent Consulting. Through Nascent Consulting, we work with organizations to provide tools to navigate and challenge racism, bias, and systemic inequities, while also incorporating mental health strategies into organizational practices to foster a more inclusive, supportive environment for all members.
Whether addressing the emotional impact of reproductive health, racial trauma, or leadership pressures, I collaborate with clients to help them navigate the balance between their personal and professional lives with confidence and clarity.
Outside of my clinical work, I am passionate about immersing myself into different cultures through travel, continually expanding my expertise to better serve my clients and promote overall well-being.
